Cereal grain growers in parts of Idaho are dealing with cold damage, nitrogen leaching and perfect conditions for stripe rust.

“The conditions that we’ve had in the last couple of weeks have been kind of cold in southeast Idaho,” said Juliet Marshall, University of Idaho department head and plant pathologist at the Idaho Falls Research and Extension Center.
